Consent to the processing of personal data for marketing purposes and sending commercial messages

Dear Madam, dear Sir,

1. Consent is granted by:

A user of the website https://www.wooden-pellets.com/ and the web application available on it, who agreed to this form when registering a user account on this website.
(hereinafter referred to as "you")

2. Consent is granted:

on behalf of the company GPNA s.r.o. (hereinafter referred to as the "controller"), with its registered office at Na zámkách 676/6, Čimice, postal code 181 00, registered in the Commercial Register under file C 357886 maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague.

We ask you to consent to the processing of your personal data for marketing purposes and for the inclusion of your profile in the Gallery. The data we will process based on your consent includes your first name, last name (in the case of an entrepreneur, also the business name, ID number, and registered office), contact details (email address, phone number, mailing address), transaction data, specific data (e.g., GPS) related to uploaded photos, information from call recordings, or other interactions between you and us. This data is obtained directly from you or from cooperating third parties. I acknowledge that by giving my consent, other Gallery users will have access to some of my personal data (first name, last name).
The legal basis for processing your personal data is your consent given to the controller under Article 6(1)(a) of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).

The purpose of processing personal data is to offer products and services provided by GPNA s.r.o. and cooperating third parties, including through electronic channels, as well as for marketing processing, analysis, and profiling to tailor our offer to your needs and improve the services provided.
The use of information is preceded by its processing, mainly referred to as marketing data processing. This includes statistical and mathematical analyses to gain insights into customer behavior, various profiling and segmentation of customers, and reporting.
Data protection regulations allow the controller to appoint a processor for the processing of personal data. A personal data processor is any entity that processes personal data on behalf of the controller based on authorization or delegation.

The above personal data may be processed both manually and automatically and will be processed exclusively for the aforementioned purposes and will not be disclosed to other parties (except as specified above), nor will they be made available to any other recipients of personal data.

Consent is voluntary, and you have the right at any time to correct or delete personal data, as well as the right to restrict the processing of personal data and the right to object to processing or to file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection. You also have the right to review your data in the database at any time or to request the company to provide it to you in a machine-readable format.

3. Content of consent

  • By checking the checkbox during the registration process, you consent to the storage of so-called marketing cookies on your device, access to them, and the use of these cookies to display relevant and personalized advertising on the website https://www.wooden-pellets.com/ and to analyze the data these cookies collect, particularly information on when and under what conditions you become a customer, how to better target advertising or videos, and the possibility of sharing this data with our partners, who may combine the data obtained through cookies with other information you have provided to them or that they have obtained as a result of your use of their services. You also acknowledge that by giving this consent, we have placed a cookie on your device with a lifespan corresponding to this consent.

  • By checking the checkbox during the registration process, you consent to receive selected commercial communications offering our products and services by all means, including the use of electronic communication in accordance with Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on certain services of the information society, as well as through telephone calls, which may be recorded at least in a non-automated way (e.g., even by hand), by both us and persons assisting us with the processing of personal data under paragraph 5 of this article; you also consent to receive non-addressed commercial communications, including the use of electronic communication means, both regarding other products or services of ours (other than Laws for People) and those of our partners (whose list you can find here); conducting market research and evaluation, particularly by publishing questionnaires, polls, surveys, or other methods to ascertain your preferences on our websites www.zakonyprolidi.cz and the web application available on them; your inclusion in the marketing database for profiling and direct marketing; conducting segmentation (profiling) for targeting marketing according to your specific needs, such as choosing commercial communications based on your participation in our activities, based on your identified preferences, and possibly other information obtained from you during the provision of our services. Your personal data will be processed for the purposes of this consent to the extent of: name, surname, email, and phone number.

  • You also acknowledge and agree that we will store information about the IP address of the device from which the consent was sent and a timestamp of the consent submission for the purpose of storing and archiving the consent. You also acknowledge that by giving this consent, we have placed a cookie on your device with a lifespan corresponding to this consent.

  • Your personal data under this consent will be processed for a maximum period of 5 years, or until your consent is withdrawn.

  • We process the relevant data mainly by acquiring, transmitting, storing, analyzing, evaluating, and possibly also structuring or profiling it.

  • We may also disclose your personal data to persons assisting us with the processing of personal data under Article 1.3 of our Data Processing Principles. Such persons include sales representatives, external company consultants, and service providers assisting us with the operation of websites and the web application, whose complete list can be found here. The consent you give us also applies to processors we have authorized. We will not provide your personal data to processors outside the EU unless these processors guarantee compliance with measures approved by the European Commission (e.g., standard clauses for the transfer of personal data to third countries).

  • This consent is required unconditionally and is given of your own free will. Failure to provide this consent does not affect the provision of other services by the company. The consent is given voluntarily and in an informed manner.

  • You can withdraw your consent according to point 1 at any time in accordance with Article 7(3) of the GDPR, in one of the ways specified in Article 1.4 of the Terms. Upon withdrawal of this consent, we will delete your personal data without undue delay and will no longer use it unless their destruction would cause disproportionate harm to us or if we continue to have another legal basis for processing them.

  • We are also mutually obliged to cooperate in updating your personal data and correcting any errors contained therein.

4. Your rights in handling personal data

As a user, you can:

  • Request, by any of the means specified in Article 1.4 of the Terms, that we provide you with information on the scope and manner of processing your personal data in connection with the given consent, which we are obliged to provide you within 30 days;

  • Request the correction or deletion of your personal data if it is found that we are processing inaccurate data or if there are reasons under Article 17(1) GDPR;

​

  • Withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data by any of the means specified in Article 5 of the Principles.

Furthermore, you have the right to directly contact the Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz) regarding our processing of your personal data.

5. Final Provisions

By checking the checkbox during the registration process, you give your consent to the processing of personal data and confirm that you have been sufficiently informed when giving your consent and that you are aware of your rights.

​All private law relationships arising from or in connection with the processing of personal data are governed by the legal order of the Czech Republic. Any disputes arising in connection with privacy protection between the participant and the company are subject to the jurisdiction of Czech courts, which will apply Czech law.
